Terms & Conditions
The terms governing use of Mathidia Mathematics Academy by learners, parents, teachers and institutions.
Agreement to these terms
By creating an account or using mathidia.com you agree to these terms. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, a parent, guardian or school must set up and supervise your account. Schools and enterprises may also have a separate agreement, which takes precedence where it conflicts with these terms.
Beta status
Mathidia is currently in beta. Features may change, pause or be withdrawn, and occasional errors are expected. We take reasonable care to protect your learning records, but we recommend not relying on the platform as your only record of exam-critical work during this period.
Your account
- Accounts are personal — do not share your password or let someone else use your login
- Give accurate details, and keep your email address current so we can reach you
- Institutional seats are allocated by the school and remain under its control
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account
- Tell us promptly at support@mathidia.com if you think your account has been accessed by someone else
AI-assisted learning content
Explanations, hints, worked steps, generated practice questions and automated answer marking may be produced with the help of AI models. They can occasionally be incomplete or incorrect. Verify anything that matters — exam preparation, coursework and graded work — with your teacher or official syllabus material. Mathidia supports learning; it does not replace teachers or formal education, and you remain responsible for how you use AI-generated content, including under your school's academic-integrity rules. Full detail is in the AI Disclaimer.
Acceptable use
- No sharing or reselling of account access
- No redistribution of lesson content, question banks or assessments
- No automated scraping, bulk downloading, or training third-party models on our content
- No attempt to bypass security, access other accounts, or disrupt assessments
- Respectful conduct in shared notes and any communication with our team
Subscriptions and payment
No payment is taken during beta. When paid plans open, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time with access continuing to the end of the paid period. Institutional licences run for the agreed term under the accompanying order form. Cancellation and refund detail is in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Content ownership
Lessons, assessments, question banks, interactive models, videos and brand assets remain the property of Mathidia Mathematics Academy or its licensors, as set out in the Copyright Notice. Notes and work you create remain yours; you grant us only the limited permission needed to store, display and process them so the service works for you and for anyone you share a link with.
Availability, liability and suspension
We aim to keep the academy available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we do not guarantee any grade or examination outcome. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim; nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. We may suspend or close an account that seriously breaches these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, and you may close your account at any time.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the platform develops and will notify you in the product before material changes take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without affecting the mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
